Km 5000: In Bolivia – After an Awesome Ride and a Bit of Stress
After leaving Santiago de Chile I rode up to the Argentinian border. Here I drove just below the highest mountain of the continent and even rode in a bit of snow. Today after a little bit of preparation I am taking off from Santiago de Chile on my new motorbike. I will be leaving from Chile early morning on Monday towards Mendoza in Argentina (passing by the highest point of Americas Aconcagua). Colombia and Ecuador do not feel like neighboring countries to me. The differences are too obvious. The good thing about Ecuador is that everything is cheaper. What is less likable is that there are significantly more tourist, streets and buildings are dirtier, electricity gets cut couple hours a day, people are not as beautiful and“Just below the equator”
